- 2.3 million couples wed
every year in the US. That breaks down to nearly 6,200 weddings
a day!
- 72% of all brides said
"they wish they would have spent more time choosing
their reception entertainment".
- Entertainment, on the
average, is 4% of the cost of the entire reception (Full
Tilt Entertainment feels that securing the right entertainment
represents 80% of the success of the reception).
- During wedding planning,
Brides say their highest priority is there attire, followed
by the reception site and caterer - reception entertainment
is among the least of their priorities. Within one week
after their reception, 78% of Brides said they would have
made the entertainment their highest priority!
- When asked 81% of guests
say the thing they remember most about a wedding is the
entertainment / reception.
- 65% of all couples that
chose a band to entertain at their wedding, said, if they
had it to do over again, they would have chosen an Entertainor
or Disc Jockey. (Our Comment: This is mainly due to the
fact that DJ’s don’t typically take breaks,
and we are more versatile in accommodating requests and
customizing the entertainment. We have yet to see a band
perform the garter auction, bouquet toss, grand march, etc).
